Sport fishing in the calm waters of Río Lagartos, alongside Jorge and Carlos. The perfect introduction to fishing: fun, relaxed, and without prior experience, within the Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve.
A fun and relaxing day in the calm waters of the Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve. The goal is simple: spend time with family, learn the basics of fishing, and feel the thrill of the first bite.
We use simple and effective techniques —like light trolling or live bait— to catch local species: snapper, snook, grouper, drum, jack, barracuda, or tarpon. With a little luck, you might take home your own lunch! 🐟
100% for kids and adults with no experience. No pressure, just guaranteed fun.
The Fishing Experience Tour has a total cost of $3,600 pesos. As support for the ecological reserve, a federal fee of $125 pesos per person is charged for the preservation and care of this magnificent natural area. The reservation is made with $500 pesos of the tour cost and the rest is paid at the beginning or end of the tour.

We went with the kids and they had an amazing time. Jorge and Carlos were super patient, they taught us from scratch and we caught snapper and snook. We took the food home. We will definitely come back.
“Our first time fishing ever and it was so much fun. Calm waters, comfortable boat and Jorge speaks great English. The kids caught their first fish!”
