Professional Sport Fishing Tour

What is the Professional Sport Fishing Tour?

This is the ultimate deep-sea (Big Game) sport-fishing expedition in Río Lagartos. It’s a professional tour designed for experienced anglers looking for Gulf of Mexico trophies. We head offshore, beyond the estuary, into deep waters where large pelagic and bottom species live.

Depending on the season, our target species may include Grouper, Guachinango (Snapper/Red Snapper), Amberjack, Sailfish, Dorado (Mahi-Mahi), or Tuna. We use advanced techniques such as offshore trolling, bottom fishing, and jigging, adapting to daily conditions and the target species.

You’ll be with an expert captain and a guide/deckhand with years of experience in these waters, who know the coordinates and techniques to maximize your chances of a memorable catch.

Note: This tour is a long, demanding outing, recommended for anglers with previous offshore fishing experience. Stamina and a passion for serious fishing are required.

What’s included?

Open-sea equipped boat: Sport-fishing charter with GPS, fishfinder, livewell, and full ocean safety gear.
Expert captain and guide/deckhand.
Professional fishing equipment: High-end rods and reels (trolling and bottom fishing), lures, prepared bait, and sinkers.
Cooler with drinks and snacks: Includes water, soft drinks, and plenty of ice.
Sport-fishing permits.
Cleaning and filleting of catches: We’ll prepare your fish so you can take it home fresh.
